 Invitation to Learn Gregorian Chant Choir

McNeir Auditorium, New North

Start:  January 14, 2020

The University’s Music Program will continue to offer instruction to students, faculty, and staff of Georgetown University who are interested in learning Gregorian chant. Women and men of all faiths are welcome to attend one or all sessions.

Goals include:
• Learn how to read notation and discover various types of chants
• Sing in group or master a solo piece

Sing at Latin Mass in Copley Chapel

• February 28, 2020 (Friday) 6 pm – Requiem Mass for the Souls of the Faithfully Departed 
• April 25, 2020 (Saturday) 5 pm – Vigil Mass for the 3rd Sunday of Easter

Choir field trip:  March 15 (Sunday)  4 pm – Durufle Requiem – City Choir of Washington at St. Luke Catholic Church.
