GU Schola Cantorum – Gregorian Chant Choir

December 7, 2019: 5 pm Latin Mass – Saturday Vigil – Copley Crypt Chapel (Map below) Celebrant is Fr. Stephen Fields. The GU Schola Cantorum will sing all of the Ordinaries and Propers. The congregation is encouraged to learn and join in singing the Ordinaries and responses. Click on “Music for Congregation” Tab for music and select audios. Music and translations will be provided at the Mass.
The University’s Music Program continues to offer instruction to students, faculty, and staff of Georgetown University who are interested in learning Gregorian chant. Women and men of all faiths are welcome to attend one or all sessions. This Mass is the final event for Fall 2019. We will start again during the Spring 2020 semester. Primary rehearsals are on Tuesdays 6:00 to 7:15 pm (with alternative meetings on most Thursdays 6:00 to 7:00 pm).
