Exciting trips this weekend!
1.  Old Rag day hike on Saturday – this is THE mountain to climb in the greater DC area.
2.  Camping and Rafting – leave campus on Saturday afternoon to sleep under the stars, wake us Sunday for a day on the river (class II & III).
No experience required on either trip but students should be comfortable scrambling on rocks and hiking 7 plus miles for Old Rag and able to swim for the rafting trip.  Full details are on the sign-up links above.

Through wilderness based endeavors,  Georgetown University Outdoor Education seeks to teach, to inspire, and guide students, creating a community where learning, personal challenge, reflection, and increased compassion for others and the environment are fostered and upheld as core values…

Accommodation requests related to a disability should be made two weeks prior to trip/activity by contacting Kris Nessler, Director of Outdoor Education.  kwn6@georgetown.edu or 7-8419.  A good faith effort will be made to fulfill requests made after the two week window.
