Next month the University of Maryland’s iSchool is hosting Library Research Seminar V and in exchange for some blogging, I get to attend.  :)  The beginning of the semester has been so busy that I haven’t been able to think about it much, but I’m looking at the program right now and getting pretty excited about some of the sessions.

The first program that caught my eye is entitled “Of Bits, Bytes and Books: Use and Meaning in Digital Humanities and the Emerging Library.”  I’d like to learn *a lot* more about digital humanities, and have been doing some thinking about information literacy and historical research recently (there was a recent post to ILI about this topic that pointed to this ACRL site.  I need to explore it more).

More of LRS-V later….
