Planning and Facilities Management and the Office of Residential Living, along with Manhattan Construction, are offering tours of the Former Jesuit Residence this spring.
The Former Jesuit Residence is home to history and hidden treasures and this fall will open as the newest residence hall on campus. Tours are an exciting opportunity to watch this historic building come back to life through the construction process and see the spectacular views onto the Potomac River and Dahlgren Quad.
Tours will be offered Wednesday and Friday afternoons at 4:00 p.m. and will last approximately one hour. Tour groups will meet in Dahlgren Quad. Please expect to walk stairs as there is not currently a working elevator in the building. Participants are welcome to take pictures during the tour.
For safety reasons, all participants must wear long pants (no shorts, skirts, or dresses) and close-toed, hard-sole shoes (sneakers do not meet the requirement). Those that do not meet these important safety precautions will be turned away. You will be given a hard hat to wear while on the premise.
Students can sign up for a tour on HoyaLink by finding the date of the tour on the calendar. Faculty and staff interested in a tour can email Stephanie Lynch, Assistant Dean for Residential Living, at Stephanie.Lynch@georgetown.edu.
Tour dates for January and February follow. Dates for March and April will be announced later this spring.
