Planning and Facilities Management has planned a series of temporary utility outages between December 20th and 23rd to support construction of the Northeast Triangle. The outages will last each day from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. All outages have been coordinated with occupants of the affected buildings and will occur during the winter break to minimize inconvenience.
The first phase of the Northeast Triangle construction is the relocation of utility lines that are currently under the site. Construction crews are installing new utility lines for chilled water, steam, electric, and telecommunications. Once the new utilities are hooked up, the old utilities can be removed and excavation of the foundation for the new residence hall can begin.
