Planning 301, the most recent master planning community forum, was designed as an open house for faculty, staff, students, neighbors, and other stakeholders to learn about current construction projects and share ideas for future spaces on campus. Vice President for Planning and Facilities Robin Morey also gave a presentation on the master planning process and some current ideas for future space.

The presentation covers the planning process and core planning principles; a timeline for preparing the next campus plan, including stakeholder engagement; examples of the planning process in action; and some concepts for future development on campus. As the university develops a master plan for the Main Campus, the 2018 Campus Plan will reflect the principles of that master plan over a 20-year period.

After the Thanksgiving Break, we’ll post the feedback that participants provided about future space on campus. Presentations and video of previous master planning forums are also available on the master planning website, beginning with Planning 101 in November 2012.
