New lighting installed along Reiss pathway

Planning and Facilities Management and Gilbane Construction have installed new lighting along the pathway around Reiss Science Building to make the path safer and more accessible. Lights were installed on Friday last week.

“The lighting levels throughout the pedestrian pathways have been upgraded to provide much improved illumination. We continue to monitor and make the necessary adjustments as necessary,” says Lenn Robinson, project manager for the Northeast Triangle.

As the primary pathway around the Northeast Triangle site to the Leavey Center and other north campus locations, it is important to keep the pathway safe and accessible for our entire community. If you notice other concerns on the pedestrian pathway or elsewhere around the Northeast Triangle site, send an email to facilities@georgetown.edu. Planning and Facilities Management will contact the appropriate project manager to resolve the issue or work with the contractor to do so.
