Obama ‘Knew What Was at Stake’ In Second Debate Against Romney

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama and his opponent, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, wasted no time attacking each other’s plans while earnestly promoting their own during Wednesday night’s presidential debate, the second of three.
A CNN/ORC International nationwide poll conducted right after the debate said Obama won with 46 percent, while 39 percent of respondents said Romney won.Host Rob Sachs spoke with Mark Rom, an associate professor of government at Georgetown University, and Joan E. McLean, a politics professor at Ohio Wesleyan, about the debate.
