We’ve all been perplexed by the abbreviations used in legal footnotes at one point or another, but there are a number of resources available to decipher these abbreviations. In addition to the Bluebook, the online Cardiff Index to Legal Publications is a great resource to use, especially for international material. It is published in the United Kingdom and includes both U.S. and international law reporters and law reviews.
