As of July 22, WestlawNext academic accounts now include the “Alerts” feature, which helps keep you updated via email on new information that you choose to track – from news sources, court dockets, KeyCite reports, selected authors or publications, and more.
Existing alerts set up in Westlaw Classic will be migrated automatically to the new interface on WestlawNext by July 25. Following a successful transfer, alerts will then be turned off on Westlaw Classic. (If a Westlaw Classic alert is running in content not yet migrated to WestlawNext, then that alert will remain running and modifiable in Classic until the content is migrated to WestlawNext.)
