H1N1 Resource Guide Available

The H1N1 Resource Guide provides access to authoritative information and resources regarding H1N1 influenza.

The guide will be continuously updated by librarians at Dahlgren Memorial Library and will include new resources as they become available.

The H1N1 Guide Features:

  • Authoritative information about the H1N1 virus, including information from DynaMed, National Guidelines Clearinghouse, Essential Evidence Plus, and online textbooks.
  • Links to recent articles from PubMed, CINAHL, and national newspapers.
  • Access to core websites, such as the CDC, Flu.gov, WHO, and other reliable sites.
  • Updates, alerts, and feeds from trustworthy sources.
  • Maps and statistics illustrating H1N1 trends.
  • Information for clinicians, including evidence-based sources and guidelines.
  • Information for patients, including low-literacy documents.
  • Easy access to Dahlgren Memorial Library librarians via chat, email, or phone.

Annoucing DML’s Liaison Program

Dahlgren Memorial Library (DML) is beginning a new Liaison Librarian Program in an effort to create new collaborative relationships and to nurture existing ones with faculty, staff, and students. Liaison Librarians will provide their departments with news and helpful information from DML. Moreover, they can provide training sessions and present relevant Library information as well as become partners in supporting teaching and research efforts.

New Mobile Resource: RefMobile

RefWorks users can now access folders on your handheld device, using RefMobile. Access instructions and
Group Code can be found on the DML Web site. (You will be prompted for your NetID and password to access this restricted page.)

RefMobile features include the ability to search references, view folders and references,  or add new references using the Smart Add feature, for example, by doi or PubMed ID.
