AT Program Begins Fall 2013 Workshop Series
On Wednesday, September 18, the Apprenticeship in Teaching Program kicked off its fall 2013 workshop series with record attendance for Introduction to Teaching Resources.
Upcoming Workshops
This week’s workshops presented by CNDLS, Gelardin, and UIS include a multi-session Blackboard Day as well as opportunities to learn about creating screencast tutorials with the Explain Everything app, basic uses of PhotoShop, and recording podcasts with GarageBand. There will also be an Apprenticeship in Teaching workshop on Assessment and Grading.

Upcoming Lecture Capture Workshops
UIS and CNDLS will be presenting a number of workshops on lecture capture. These will include introductions to Echo360, Georgetown’s new lecture capture tool, as well sessions focusing on the pedagogy behind the use of lecture capture.
Upcoming Session on PowerPoint in the Classroom
This Thursday, Andrew Miller, a participant in the Apprenticeship in Teaching Program, will offer a brief session on the use of PowerPoint in the classroom. All are welcome to attend.
