Digital Learning Days, Back in the Car Barn (And Online)

We’re looking forward to welcoming Hoyas back on campus this fall, with a strengthened sense of community making its way into our new routines. That’s why, this year, we’re offering Digital Learning Days on August 18, 2022 in-person and August 19 virtually, on Zoom. Our schedule of offerings reflects the sort of semester we’re embarking on—one focused on good, basic teaching practices, navigating adaptations as they come.

Join us in the morning on Thursday for coffee, followed by sessions for new and experienced Canvas users. We’ll host lunch in the Car Barn, then dive into a classroom technology demonstration with Classroom Educational Technology Services (CETS).

On Friday, we’re kicking off the virtual day with a faculty panel: This Made My Life Easier”: Tools and Techniques to Sustain Good Teaching. In the afternoon, we’re hosting sessions with the GU Library and the Academic Resource Center, as well as the Office of Assessment and Decision Support, who will oversee the new course evaluation system, BLUE.

CNDLS consultations will continue to run through Digital Learning Days—so, if you need more hands-on, one-on-one instruction on how to use a certain tool, we invite you to drop into one of our Consultation Sessions to meet with a CNDLS staff member who will be happy to help you.

Registration is open, and the schedule is available for you to peruse at

We hope to see you during Digital Learning Days this week. As always, if you have any questions, please contact
