Announcing the Return of the Digital Learning Webinar Series

While the DL Webinar Series was put on hold during our remote pivot, we are back with our monthly series intended to help you to find out more about digital learning at Georgetown University. The sessions will take place on the third Thursday of every month during the semester, from 12:00-1:00pm. This year, we are focusing the webinars on active student engagement using the technology and tools at our disposal.

Our first DL Webinar on September 16th is on Classroom Technologies for In-Person Learning. The webinar will focus on how to maximize the technology available to you in the GU classrooms for student engagement and learning. We will pay particular attention to how to use the technology to recreate some of the more successful parts of remote learning, such as polling, guest speakers, and collaborations.

You can sign up for the September webinar now.

The tentative topics for the rest of the Fall semester are:

  • October 21st: Hypothes.is in the Classroom
  • November 18th: Digital Storytelling for Inquiry

Recordings of each webinar will be made available here on the Prospect Blog

We look forward to your attendance and participation!
