Third Call for ITEL Proposals Announced

We are pleased to announce our third Call for Proposals for the Initiative on Technology-Enhanced Learning. The third round of funding will begin May 1. You may apply to one of the following two tracks: The Cohort Track ­is available for faculty who wish to enhance a small component (assignment sequence, unit) of a fall 2014 course in one of the following themes (funding: $2,500 stipend):

  • Theme A: Deepening Discourse and Engagement with Tablet Computing
  • Theme B: Engaging by Design: Online Games & Simulations
  • Theme C: Flipping the Classroom with Open Educational Resources
  • Theme D: Technology-Based Strategies for Integrating Writing & Disciplinary Thinking
The Open Track is available for faculty who wish to experiment with innovative approaches to integrating technology into a full course or larger curricular structure (funding up to: $25,000 per project for individual or small faculty teams; up to $50,000 for faculty teams of four or more working on large scale curricular change).
