CNDLS Welcomes Ann Pendleton-Jullian for 2012-2013

We are pleased to announce that Ann Pendleton-Jullian will be joining the CNDLS community for the 2012-2013 academic year as Distinguished Visiting Professor of Design. Ms. Pendleton-Jullian's work looks at design and how social environments can impact knowledge creation and sharing. She has served as the Director of the Austin E. Knowlton School of Architecture at Ohio State University and Principle Architect at the Asian University for Women in Bangladesh. As Distinguished Visiting Professor of Design, she will be leading a series of conversations on design and learning. Ms. Pendleton-Jullian's visiting position for 2012-2013 was officially announced at the Fall Faculty Convocation on October 10, where, as the Aims of Education Address speaker, she addressed the role of innovation and its implications for teaching, learning, and research at Georgetown. She also spoke at TEDx Georgetown on September 28.
