Friday: Faculty Perspectives on Lecture Capture

Join us this Friday to hear faculty perspectives on using lecture capture technology for teaching and learning. The event will take place from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Murray Room, Lauinger Library. Presenters: Susan Pennestri, Instructional Technologist, CNDLS Donatella Melucci, Visiting Assistant Professor, Department of Italian Lecture capture, simply put, is recording your voice along with what is being displayed on a computer screen. The uses of lecture capture software go far beyond simply recording lectures. This session will include various pedagogical ways to use this technology to enhance teaching and learning. Susan will share examples of current uses from faculty members across the disciplines and Donatella will share her creative uses of lecture capture technology to teach Italian language and culture.
