Performing Arts Department to Present DiverseABILITY Forum

Beginning on Thursday, October 20, the Department of Performing Arts will present a number of events that highlight issues of inclusion and diversity as part of the DiverseABILITY Forum. Visible Impact, an ensemble production featuring Georgetown and Gallaudet students, "weaves monologue and memoir, scene-work and Shakespeare, poetry and movement, to explore and enact diverse experiences and perspectives from the d/Deaf and disabled communities." In addition to other performances, the forum will include panel discussions on such topics as disability law and diversity in the classroom. The full schedule of events can be found here. Susan Lynskey, co-director of the DiverseABILITY forum, is a Faculty Fellow with the Doyle Engaging Difference Initiative.
